These terms govern your use of the DriveOdo mobile app and related websites. By creating an account or using DriveOdo, you agree to them.
The service
DriveOdo helps you record vehicle trips, track odometer and component wear, and remind you about upcoming service. Features depend on the device permissions you grant and whether the garage has Premium.
Accounts and garages
- You must be at least 13 years old, and old enough to agree to these terms where you live.
- Keep your sign-in details secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
- If you invite others to a garage, you are responsible for what they can see and do there.
- We may suspend an account that abuses the service, breaks the law, or puts others at risk.
Subscriptions and the free allowance
A garage on the free plan may record a limited number of completed trips each calendar month. Premium removes that limit and unlocks Auto-Track and full history, as described in the app.
- Payments are charged to your Apple or Google account.
- Subscriptions renew unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the period ends.
- Manage or cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscription settings.
- Introductory trials (where offered) convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends. Apple and Google may show different trial lengths.
- Prices can change; the store will show the price before you buy.
Acceptable use
Do not use DriveOdo to:
- Track someone without a lawful right to do so.
- Interfere with the service, other users, or our providers.
- Upload unlawful, harmful, or infringing content.
- Misrepresent trip or odometer data to defraud an insurer, employer, or anyone else.
Location and safety
Do not interact with the app in a way that distracts you while driving. Location features are for trip logging and maintenance, not emergency services.
Intellectual property
DriveOdo and its branding are ours. You keep ownership of the vehicle, trip, and photo content you add. You grant us a license to host and display that content so the app can work for you and the garage members you invite.
Disclaimer and liability
The app is provided “as is.” Trip distance, wear estimates, and reminders are tools, not a guarantee of vehicle condition or legal compliance. To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, and our total liability for a claim is limited to the amount you paid us for Premium in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after an update means you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the app and cancel any subscription.
